The Jack Herer Invitational is a private, invite-only contest, dedicated to the growers who represent the true spirit of the plant. It’s a quiet nod of respect to those who let their work speak for itself.

The JHI team has pre-selected a group of top tier spanish cultivators and invited them to share their best work. Being invited means your craft has been recognized for its quality, consistency, and integrity. Values that align with the legacy of Jack Herer himself.

***For this addition of the JHI, only cultivators operating in Spain will be eligible.

• You will be added to the list to be considered to receive an invitation. If you are invited, you will be among a highly exclusive group of Spanish based cultivators.
• Full access to the 2 day event on the 21st and 22nd of April.
• A chance to meet and network with industry leaders and legends
• Hosted beverage breaks daily with a hosted lunch buffet daily
• Access to our preferred invitee list for future competitions, industry and social events
• You become a permanent member of the Jack Herer Community.
• As a permanent member you will be part of a growing, global network, giving you access to our sponsors, exhibitors, suppliers, and other brands connected to the JH Community.
• Receive regular updates about JHI events and gatherings worldwide.

Once you’ve registered by selecting General Attendee Entry Submission, the following will happen:

• You will receive an email with a short questionnaire about your method of cultivation (indoor/outdoor, type of medium, etc.), which we will use to determine whether your craft aligns with the standards and spirit of the invitational.
• Once we have reviewed your application we will let you know whether or not you are invited as soon as possible.
• If invited you will receive detailed instructions on how to submit your samples no later than the first week of February 2026.
• The submission window for samples will be from the last week of February till March 1st.

Every entry in the Jack Herer Invitational is judged blind and evaluated on its own merit.
Our panel is made up of seasoned industry professionals and connoisseurs who value craftsmanship over hype.

While we’ll share the full judging method privately with confirmed participants, here’s what you can expect in broad terms:

• Flavor and aroma are at the core: These elements define the essence of exceptional flower and concentrates.
• Visual and structural quality: The visual appearance of the end product expresses the care that went into its cultivation and refinement and are closely considered, reflecting how well the material was grown, handled, and finished.
• Cure and composition: They matter just as much as how the product was grown and produced. We look for balance, integrity, and life in the product.
• Effect: Even though the effect after consumption plays a vital role, refinement and craftsmanship weigh heavier than raw potency.
• Care and intention: Behind each entry are recognized; we study how each sample expresses the grower’s or maker’s touch.

The Jack Herer Invitational method goes deeper than conventional scoring systems. It’s built to recognize the full story of the work, from cultivation or extraction to final presentation, and to reward those who master both precision and soul.

The Jack Herer Invitational exists to celebrate true craftsmanship. Therefore, and to ensure complete fairness, sponsors of the event may not enter samples in the competition.
This policy keeps the judging independent and the results beyond question. The focus stays where it belongs; on the quality of the work itself.
