The Jack Herer Invitational is more than a competition, it’s a meeting of minds and makers who care about where cannabis has been, and where it’s headed next.
Created by Dan Herer to carry forward his father’s vision, this event honors the cultivators, hash makers, extractors and innovators who built this culture with passion, resilience, and respect for the plant.
On April 21–22, 2026, just before Spannabis Bilbao, the JHI returns the focus to what truly matters: authenticity, integrity, and craft. At a time when the industry is flooded with noise, pay-to-play politics, and surface-level hype, we’re keeping it simple; the best work, judged fairly, on merit. The way it should be.
Beyond the competition, the JHI is a living forum for connection and growth. Expect legacy speakers like Dan Herer, Mila Jansen, Captain Hooter, Soma, and Ken Estes, alongside a curated exhibition space where leading brands and emerging creators can showcase their products, tell their stories, and build lasting partnerships within a like-minded community.
